Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Karnataka (AWAKE) is one such organization found by seven successful women entrepreneurs with a vision to build a strong women entrepreneur force that embarks their entrepreneurship and supports them to establish it successfully.
At the primary stage, Awake started with business counseling to prospective women entrepreneur but over time Awake also proceeded with different programs like Entrepreneur Development Training, Awareness Programs and Workshop. This created an impact on the women to become official members of Awake.
Awake not only became a portal for the exchange of information but also steer to establish a research and resources centre, one such centre was opened in Bangalore for the food processing industry known as the “Business Incubation Centre”.
Awake has grown in size and scale in recent years which helped them to collaborate and associate with different organizations to support their activities. These activities helped them to get International recognition one such activity is” Rural Development Of Women” AWAKE’s services have evolved with growing technology trends and thus enables members to match with the pace of industrial growth.
