AWAKE was honoured with ASSOCHAM AWARD on 24th Feb 2022 for 'Excellence in providing Livelihood to Local community under CSR & Sustainability Summit and Awards.

In total 613 budding Entrepreneurs, Startups and existing women MSMEs based out of Bangalore benefitted from technical and financial sessions and resources attending 15 workshops conducted by GIZ sponsored - Innovation Facilitation Centre at AWAKE from September 2020 - March 2021.

An interactive meet with Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam Honorable President Of India and women Entrepreneurs to discuss on new vision and ideas for sustainable entrepreneurship development .

AWAKE signed an MOU with NGO -SAVE THE CHILDREN AND GSK CSR for training and development of women owned enterprises at VEMGAL, KOLAR District .

1) CAPACITY BUILDING OF BOARD MEMBERS AND STAFF WITH PEGASUS INSTITUTE.
2) State Level Women Entrepreneurs conference with the theme “ outreach to finance for a profitable growth “ 310 women attended the same, held on NOV 18th,2019 at Bangalore.
3) One day of awareness on “Entrepreneurship and Outreach to Finance“ for women in association with State Bank of India in 10 districts of Karnataka .893 women attended the same. program held at Tumkur, Kolar, Chikkabalapur, Mandya, Chikkamagalur, Gulbarga ,Belgaum, Shivamoga, Bijapur and Karwar.
4) AWAKE signed an MOU with NGO -SAVE THE CHILDREN AND GSK CSR for training and development of women-owned enterprises at VEMGAL, KOLAR District.

Intensive EDP training in fashion designing, food processing, and catering for women belonging to SC /ST communities under MSME – GOK support – more than 400 women reached.

SAVI - RUCHI canteens – EDP along with skill development in catering and conducting training for women in different districts.

NiMSME – EDP and Skill development training done in different districts

GIZ supported–Management Development Programs conducted for members to enhance their leadership qualities and capacity building of their enterprises

ICAR –NAIP PROJECT – training 250 women at MALAVALLI, MANDYA district in value-added Maize products, marketed under the brand MAIZY – in association with the University of Agricultural Sciences. Launched their common facility centre with Cauvery Mahila Federation, MALAVALLI.

INTERNATIONAL SUMMIT – VOICE OF WOMEN conducted at BANGALORE. More than 150 women delegates from various countries participated.

1) 3rd Phase of Sujala project – Training of women in 3 districts of Karnataka.
2) Anniversary celebration conducted at District ( HUBLI) for the first time.
3) CAPART (Council for Advancement of People’s Action & rural Technology) selected AWAKE as a Nodal agency.
4) HP-CSR project on Micro-Enterprise ACCELARATION program. – set up rural computer literacy programs for entrepreneurs in various districts and more than 2000 women trained in computer usage.
5) MOU SIGNED WITH AUSTRALIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE- INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF WOMEN IN COMMERCE AND INDUSTRIES.
